At a time when the Montenegrin real estate market is experiencing unprecedented expansion, the Association of Real Estate Agencies of Montenegro (UANCG) is taking on a key role in shaping the future of this important economic sector.
A recent meeting held at the Avala Hotel in Budva brought together the most important representatives of the real estate sector, demonstrating a strong commitment to a common vision of a regulated and professional market.
The current state of the real estate market in Montenegro presents a unique challenge that requires urgent action. According to detailed analyses, the state loses between 20 and 30 million euros annually due to illegal activities in the real estate sector. These data clearly indicate the necessity of a systemic approach to market regulation, which is precisely one of the primary goals of the recently proposed Law on Mediation in the Sale and Lease of Real Estate, which has already received the green light from the Legislative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro. The Association is dedicated to combating the shadow economy by advocating for stricter controls and more transparent procedures in the real estate sector.
Professional development of members is one of the cornerstones of our activities. Through the organization of specialized workshops and seminars, the Association continuously raises standards in the industry.
The plans for 2025 are ambitious and comprehensive: an education program across a wide range of topics from legal aspects of business, marketing strategies with improved communication and sales techniques, standardization of business with the preparation of universal brokerage and sales contracts, support for members in obtaining the documentation required by the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, intensification of the Association's promotion campaign on social networks, in order to increase the visibility of the work of the Association itself and individual members.
Membership in the Association brings numerous advantages to real estate agencies. In addition to access to professional education and legal support, members have the opportunity for networking and joint promotion. The possibility of representing interests before state authorities through the collective action of the Association is particularly important.
The association remains steadfast in its mission to create a regulated and transparent real estate market in Montenegro, and through joint action, professionalism and commitment to the highest standards, it builds the foundations for the long-term development of the real estate sector.
We invite all interested, registered agencies to join us in this important mission and contribute to the creation of a more professional real estate market in Montenegro.
